Sondrio, a town in the heart of the Alps, is a tourist destination 365 days a year. Crossroad of art and culture, the city extends into a valley surrounded by terraced vineyards and beautiful views.

Getting there

Sondrio is easily reachable via the Stelvio National Road 38 connecting the town to Lake Como on the west and continues east towards Bormio. The visitor can easily reach the town by train through the line from Milan to Tirano. The railway line that touches Sondrio follows the valley floor, where the Adda flows, and therefore the route of the Stelvio National Road. The closest airport is Orio al Serio, but they are also usable Milan airports of Linate and Malpensa.
